How do I set up Google Assistant?
If you are a new user unboxing your device, you can either activate Google Assistant while you set up your device or you can activate Google Assistant at any time after setting up your device by navigating to your device in the Fitbit mobile app and tapping on the Voice Assistant tile.
If you are an existing user who has already activated Sense or Versa 3, first make sure your firmware has been updated to the latest version. Then go navigate to your device in the Fitbit mobile app and activate Google Assistant by tapping on the Voice Assistant tile.

Why don’t I see Google Assistant while I set up my device?

Is Google Assistant always listening on my Fitbit smartwatch?
No. The microphone in your smartwatch only turns on when you’re using a feature that requires your voice, such as Google Assistant. The microphone turns off when Google Assistant responds, when you close Google Assistant, or when your watch’s screen turns off.
Do I need to say “Hey Google” or “Ok Google” to use the Google Assistant feature on my Fitbit smartwatch?
No, you don’t need to say “Hey Google” or “Ok Google” to use the Google Assistant feature on your smartwatch. Saying “Hey Google” or “Ok Google” doesn’t activate your voice assistant on your smartwatch—you must activate your voice assistant before the microphone in your smartwatch turns on.
